ANA’s asphalt manufacturing facility in Kempsey marks an exciting next step in our growth - expanding our capability from laying asphalt to manufacturing it.
Strategically located to service the Mid North Coast and surrounding regions, the facility supports both ANA’s own projects and external customers with reliable access to locally manufactured asphalt.
With modern production technology, flexible mix capabilities and recycled materials incorporated where suitable, we’re bringing greater control, efficiency and sustainability to the way asphalt is supplied and delivered across regional NSW.

Closing the Loop
Manufacturing brings another piece of ANA's infrastructure model together. Asphalt removed during pavement rehabilitation can be recovered, proceeded through Rock Revival and incorporated into future asphalt production.
By connecting recover, recycling, manufacturing and paving, ANA is working towards a more circular approach to road construction.

Positioned in Kempsey on the Mid North Coast of NSW, ANA's manufacturing facility has been established to support the growing infrastructure needs of the region and provide another reliable source of quality asphalt for the local market.
Its central Mid North Coast location places the plant within practical reach of Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Coffs Harbour, all the way up to Yamba and all the way down to Newcastle. Supporting projects across local government, state infrastructure, civil construction, maintenance and private development.
For asphalt, location matters. Reducing the distance between the plant and the project can mean greater flexibility, improved coordination and better control over supply - particularly when programs change additional material is required or works need to be delivered within tight construction windows.
The Kempsey plant strengthens ANA's ability to service out own projects throughout the region, while also creating additional local manufacturing capacity for councils, contractors, asphalt companies and other customers who need dependable access to quality mix.

As ANA has grown, so has our ability to manage more of the asphalt lifecycle.
What began with asphalt paving contracting has expanded into profiling, recycling, traffic management and now asphalt manufacturing - bringing together the people, equipment, materials and expertise needed to support pavement projects from beginning to end.
The addition of our Kempsey manufacturing facility completed another important part of that journey.
PROFILING
It starts with what comes off the road.
Existing pavement can be profiled and removed efficiently, preparing the surface for rehabilitation while recovering valuable asphalt material that may otherwise be treated as waste.
RECOVERY & RECYCLING
Through Rock Revival, recovered asphalt can be processed into reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), giving existing road materials an opportunity to become a resource again.
It's about looking at what we remove differently - not simply as waste, but as material with another life ahead of it.
MANUFACTURING
Our Kempsey Plant brings manufacturing into the ANA Group.
With the capability to incorporate RAP into our mixes, we can take recovered material and use it as part of the production of new asphalt mixes - helping connect the end of one pavement's life with the beginning of another.
ASPHALT DELIVERY & PAVING
Manufacturing the mix is only part of the story.
Our experienced asphalt crews, modern paving equipment and established transport network allow us to take asphalt from production through to placement, whether we're delivering an ANA project or supplying material to another contractor.
TRAFFIC CONTROL
Through Chaos Traffic Solutions, traffic management can also be integrated into project delivery - helping coordinate the people, plant and road network around the work.
