Why Rock Revival Was Created
As ANA continued to expand its asphalt, profiling and pavement rehabilitation operations, a challenge became increasingly apparent - there was limited capacity within the market to efficiently process Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP).
Rather than relying on external providers, ANA identified an opportunity to create a dedicated recycling division capable of processing RAP and other construction materials while supporting the group's long-term vision for integrated infrastructure delivery.
The result was Rock Revival.
Today, Rock Revival plays an important role in ANA's commitment to sustainability, resource recovery and vertical integration, helping ensure valuable materials remain in the construction cycle for as long as possible.

At ANA, we see old roads as a resource rather than a waste product.
When asphalt pavements reach the end of their service life, they can be profiled and recovered as Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP). Through Rock Revival, this material can be processed and prepared for future use, reducing waste and supporting more sustainable construction practices.
As ANA progresses towards manufacturing its own asphalt, the concept of a circular asphalt economy becomes even more important - creating opportunities for recovered materials to contribute to the next generation of road infrastructure.

Existing asphalt pavements provide safe and reliable infrastructure for communities, businesses and road users throughout NSW.
As pavements age, the existing asphalt surface can be milled and removed as part of rehabilitation and resurfacing programs.
The removed asphalt is recovered as Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP), containing valuable aggregates and bitumen that can be reused rather than discarded.
Through Rock Revival, RAP and other construction materials are crushed, screened and processed to maximise their future value and reduce landfill waste.
